Youth ministry is steadily gaining momentum at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Lourdunagara, with young people increasingly becoming protagonists in the life and mission of the parish. The parish currently has a committed group of 35 young people in BOSCO YOUTH, who come together every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. for an hour of faith formation, animation, fellowship and discussion on topics relevant to Christian life and the challenges faced by young people today.

A significant milestone in this journey was the BOSCO YOUTH Membership Day held on Sunday, August 9, 2026. The young people actively animated the Holy Eucharist and took their oath and pledge to serve the Church and society in the spirit of Don Bosco. The celebration was a visible expression of their commitment to the mission of the parish.

The youth have also prepared their annual programme, focusing on spiritual growth, fellowship, service and social involvement.
As part of their spiritual activities, BOSCO YOUTH organized an evening of Adoration for the young people of the parish on August 2, offering them an opportunity for prayer, reflection and encounter with Christ.

With growing commitment, BOSCO YOUTH is becoming a vibrant community of young people, inspired by Don Bosco to grow in faith, leadership and service.
